My focus for many years was my career. I put all my time and energy into being a corporate superstar, but I never truly felt I was fulfilling my true purpose.
My turning point came in 2014 after hitting rock bottom. I never wanted to let anyone down or not look like I could handle what came my way, so I was constantly saying ‘yes’ to an ever increasing work load. I wanted to look professional, efficient, be a go-getter, achiever and able to be relied on for anything.
What I created was depleted energy, existing on auto pilot, feeling burnt out and never having any time for me. Oh, and I was diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. A condition that in its extreme stops you in your tracks and you have no will or desire to move, think, feel or be. Your body literally just sleeps but you wake up still feeling drained and tired. I was in denial for months, attempting to live a normal life, pushing through, believing that the fatigue was really only stress.
A series of panic attacks and many tears later, I finally listened to my body crying out for help and began to look at healing from the inside out. Because as they say ‘If you don’t have your health, what do you have?’
The next 2 years were spent looking into healing and mindset therapies as well as soaking up spiritual principles, meditation and coaching practices, and anything else that would help me to heal and regain my love of life. It was a slow process and one that taught me many lessons and allowed me to become aligned with my true purpose: to inspire and help others heal and find their true selves through changing their thoughts, actions and approach to life.
My mission is to help you peel back the layers whilst dealing with life’s pressures and uncover and live your true purpose.
